Who We Are
There’s no big newsroom behind this site, just the two of us, handling everything from research and writing to editing and hitting publish. We have a small team, but we cover a lot of ground. We track breaking events and developments, delivering the stories that belong in your pocket first, from the film industry, sports, space, and beyond. Because we believe good information shouldn’t be locked into one beat.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple: to become a fast, reliable source for readers so that the readers can turn to before anywhere else. We aren’t there yet, but no one gets there on day one. We are absolutely aware of that. Every post we publish is a step toward being the source people trust first, not just one of many they check
How We Publish
We publish 2–6 stories/posts/articles a week. It’s not high-volume, and that’s intentional — with a small team, we’d rather get a story right than get it out fast and wrong. Speed matters to us too, but never at the cost of accuracy. Right now, we don’t have reporters on the ground, so our process is built around close, careful monitoring of verified and authentic accounts across social media, the same primary sources many larger outlets cite, cross-checked before anything goes live. We’d rather post a few minutes later and be right than be first and be wrong.
Where We’re Headed
This is where we are today, not where we intend to stay. As we grow, both our publishing pace and our sourcing will grow with us, and that growth depends on two things: people, and support.
Growing Our Team
We’re only two, and we know that’s the biggest thing standing between where we are and where we want to be. If you’re a writer, reporter, editor, or someone who just can’t stop tracking what’s happening in what’s happening across the globe, we want to hear from you. Funding & Support
We’ll be upfront: this project is currently self-funded, with no backing from any organization, investor, or sponsor. That means we’re not yet in a position to offer paid roles the way an established outlet can — but we’re genuinely open to internship or apprenticeship-style arrangements for people looking to build a portfolio and gain real, hands-on experience in return for their contributions. And if you’re in a position to offer financial support, we’d welcome that conversation too.
